This is an example of the contents page that i roughly sketched for my Preliminary Task. I used a big, bold format for 'Contents' as this represents what page it is and stands out well as to inform the reader that this is the page where they can get vital information from e.g. what page their exams are on. Included on the contents page are main headlines: News, Exams, Extra. Underneath these would feature information and page numbers as to which page they would appear on. I also showed that pictures would feature on the page relating to the main topics in the college magazine as this would look better than just a load of text. From this task it has given me some ideas as to what will feature on my magazine contents page and has also made me decide on some design ideas, such as font and layout of text.
