I decided that I would research the layout of various different Hip-Hop magazine contents pages. I looked at the basic layout and analyzed the context. Whilst analyzing the various different pages they all contained a few images of the artists that were featuring in the magazine and again there would be another picture of the main artist on the contents page with large text next to the image stating the page number. As the main artist is again featured on the contents page they are made to stand out. The girl on this contents page is in a weird position which makes her stand out and draw attention to the page making the reader want to read the page. I think that this effect is very interesting and different, so i will consider this when making mine. It features other artists name and the number of the page that they appear on. These are placed under main head titles that would appear in that order every article. It also includes information of what will appear on the featured article giving the reader an inside to the story almost like a blurb to interest the reader.
